Postecoglou, manager of Tottenham Hotspur, delivered a worrying update on the fitness of Micky van de Ven on Sunday before the FA Cup collision on Sunday.
The Dutch Dynamo of Spurs has to deal with injuries throughout the campaign and made only 12 appearances for the club this season. One of them came against Elfsborg in the Europa League at the end of January after two months on the edge with a thigh problem.
Van de Ven was only seen for the first half of the 3-0 triumph in Europe and then missed games with Brentford and Liverpool.
Postecoglou also confirmed that the 23-year-old will not be available for the fourth round of the FA Cup in Villa Park and admitted:
The head of the Spurs implied that other members of his squad will return to their respective injuries in the coming weeks.
“Those who are definitely nearby are boys like [Guglielmo] Vicario, fate [Udogie]Wilson [Odobert]Madders [James Maddison]Brennan [Johnson] On a route, “said the Australian.
“You should be back every next week in terms of training or the week afterwards. In the next two weeks you should all be available.”
Tottenham was desperate with fitness problems this season and was particularly affected. Van de Ven’s absence became painful, while Kristian Romero, Radu Dragusin and Destiny Udogie are currently rubbing the shoulders in the treatment room.
Spurs signed a new central defender during the transmission window in January and recruited the defender Kevin Danso with an initial loan contract. The Austrian made his debut during the 4-0 defeat against Liverpool in the middle of the week when Tottenham missed the Carabao Cup final.
