Manchester United have been urged to sign Cole Palmer at any cost.
That’s the opinion of United fan and YouTuber Angry Ginge, who spoke to The Pitch Prospect at the launch of Soccer Aid, where he will once again play for England against a World XI.

Chelsea star Palmer has been linked with a move to Old Trafford in recent weeks amid rumors he has not settled in London.
There is also the fact that he has been a Man United fan since childhood, which has led to a transfer back to his hometown of Manchester, where he began his career in City’s academy before Chelsea signed him for £42 million in 2023.
Chelsea would be reluctant to capitalize on a man who is their best player at the time.
The 23-year-old is seen as a long-term replacement for Bruno Fernandes, who himself has been linked with a move away from United.
Angry Ginge told The Pitch Prospect: “I would love Cole Palmer at Manchester United. I don’t know how much he will cost but I would sign him tomorrow. Get him at United.”
“He’s an incredible player. He’s a good personality. I think Bruno is 31 now. I think he’s the heir to the throne.”
On Bruno Fernandes, he added: “Any fan who thinks Bruno isn’t a good captain doesn’t know what a captain should be.
“He is an extremely passionate captain. A captain lifts your team up when you are down and he has been the best player in the last five years.”
“So he’s 100 per cent captain. I think he’s a great captain. I think he’s an incredible player. I think he’s the best midfielder in the Premier League, if not the world.”
Fernandes is having one of his best seasons in a United shirt, scoring seven goals and 13 assists in the Premier League.

The Pitch Prospect understands United are hoping Fernandes will stay for at least another season.
The Portuguese international has received transfer offers from the Saudi Pro League.
He also gave a bombshell interview last year in which he claimed the club tried to release him in the summer.
Fernandes also has a £57m release clause for European clubs this summer.
The Pitch Prospect verdict
In The Pitch Prospect’s YouTube show “Inside Devils”, the jury underlined how important Fernandes is to the current team.
United fan Angelina Kelly said: “I said last month that he should be the PFA player of the season because I think he is absolutely fantastic. In my opinion he is one of the best players in the Premier League, if not the best.”

“The amount of chances he creates, the work he puts in and I think in terms of the attacking players creating and scoring goals in the final third, there is no one who can do anything close to what Bruno can do.”
Manager Michael Carrick has lifted United to third place in the Premier League and it is certain they will get Champions League football next season.
Alex Crook, chief football correspondent at The Pitch Prospect, said: “I think we on this podcast have always appreciated the qualities of Bruno Fernandes.
“To be honest, for most of his career at Manchester United he was surrounded by players who were simply not at his level.
“But you add Matheus Cunha, you have Bryan Mbeumo, you now have Benjamin Sesko who is starting to look really good.

“I know privately, as I mentioned last week, that Michael Carrick believes he can be one of the top strikers in the division, if not Europe.
“You can really see the qualities of Bruno Fernandes. His numbers are as good as ever and even when United underperformed last season, I can’t remember a time when we talked about Bruno’s poor form because he always turns up. He always delivers and he has to stay.”
“The sentiment I’m actually getting is that Manchester United executives are confident he will choose to stay.
“He has a release clause in his contract that can be activated by European clubs, which is a concern.
“But I think they realize how crucial it is to any future success.
“I really believe that if Casemiro is in the team next season he will get the few reinforcements they want, of course Casemiro will move on, Ugarte too. “Maybe get a left-back to replace Luke Shaw and another centre-back and strengthen the midfield too.”
“I don’t think United will have a really good season next year.”
