According to The Pitch Prospect, Antony will fly to Spain to join Real Betis on loan.
As reported in last week’s The Pitch Prospect transfer notebook, Betis offered the Brazilian striker an escape route away from Manchester United.

He has now received permission from the Red Devils to fly for a medical examination to seal the move.
The Pitch Prospect understands Betis will pay 84 per cent of the 24-year-old’s £200,000-a-week wages plus bonuses.
It is also understood that there is no purchase option in the contract as Antony’s move is a direct loan.
Antony, who is one of United’s top five earners, is tied to the Theater of Dreams until 2027.
And fans will be hoping that Antony makes enough of an impression during his time in Spain and fans will look for a permanent move in the summer.
The striker initially enjoyed a dream start at United following his £86million move from Ajax in 2022, scoring on his debut against Arsenal.
But he hasn’t come close to proving his value for money since then and caused fans frustration again against Southampton on Thursday when he missed a glorious opportunity from close range to bring Ruben Amorim’s side level.
Luckily for United, Amad Diallo saved his team from a potentially embarrassing defeat to 20th-placed Saints with a late hat-trick, a hat-trick that ranks as the 11th fastest in Premier League history.
This season, Antony has played just 401 minutes, with most of his playing time coming in the Carabao Cup.
He has yet to play a league game this season and is not Amorim’s preferred choice at full-back or narrow forward.
The Portuguese head coach claimed Antony can play as a full-back and has “done a great job improving in that position”, but challenged him by insisting he “needs to defend more”.

Despite those words of encouragement in December, he hasn’t made much of an impression on Amorim.
And with Antony taking up space on its profit and sustainability list, United want to cut him and others from the payroll.
Marcus Rashford could follow him on another potential loan deal.
However, with only a week left in the transfer window, no suitor has emerged yet.
