Talksport understands that the Real Sociedad midfielder has agreed or personal conditions for a long-term deal in the club.
Zubimendi, who was of interest to Liverpool, has informed Sociedad of his intention of joining Arsenal as soon as his 50 million pounds are fulfilled.
Jorginho will also leave before the next season, with the Brazilian side Flamengo its reported new goal.
