Two of the favorites that the Champions League win this season will close their heads in the past 16 years, since Liverpool will take the round against Paris Saint-Germain.
On Friday, the eight sides of the league phase came to the eight teams that made it through the play-offs. Manchester City, AC Milan and Juventus were among the big names that fall at the first hurdle, but Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and PSG were all lived to fight another day.
PSG’s reward is a big draw against Liverpool, in which the largest collision in the last 16 is. There is also a Madrid derby that you can look forward to between Real and Atletico, while Barcelona meets the Portuguese giants Benfica and Arsenal.
