Arsenal star faces major surgery over ongoing injury struggles

Arsenal Takehiro Tomiyasu’s defender is even more time on the side, with the club “examining” the possibility of “exploring” the possibility that the Japan is going through further knee surgery.

Tomiyasu suffered a knee injury in March 2023, was operated on and missed the rest of this campaign while recovering. The full -back turned back from 2023/24, although he had released a considerable part of the season as a calf problem.

He then missed Japan’s qualification games with more knee disorders in the summer of 2024 that were involved in the current campaign. Tomiyasu returned in early October and played against Southampton six minutes before the bank, but has not been presented since then.

The Daily Mail Writes that there are “aspiring fears” about Tomiyasus fitness and Arsenal doctor thinks about going the way of more operation. But going under the knife, but possibly a long -term solution, would exclude the player for a “considerable period” to recover.

In its most effective versatile defensive cover, Tomiyasu offers four on both sides of the back. But his absence was twice problematic because Ben White was also missing. The midfielder Thomas Partey has often filled out in the right -back in the past few weeks.

Arsenal paid around 16 million pounds in the summer of 2021 to sign Tomiyasu from Bologna. His contract, which was extended less than a year ago, will take place at the end of the next season. There is an option of another year until 2027, but there is also speculation that Arsenal could listen to offers this summer.
