Arsenal should spend this summer’s transfer budget on Newcastle stars Alexander Isak and Bruno Guimaraes.

Arsenal are one of many clubs interested in signing Isak from Newcastle, who is looking to renegotiate his contract to fend off interest.
It has also been suggested that Mikel Arteta’s side are confident of being able to sign Guimaraes as well, with both players crucial to the Magpies.
Arsenal already have a squad challenging for the Premier League title and Bent believes his summer transfer budget should be spent on the two Newcastle stars.
“You know what, I would spend the entire transfer budget on the two of them. I have to spend £150 million…,” he said on Drive.
Bent was then asked where Guimaraes would play at Arsenal and replied: “Bruno, [Declan] Rice, [Martin] Odegaard [in midfield].”
Host Goldstein then revealed what the Gunners could achieve if they could sign the two targets in the summer, saying: “If you have those two, that’s a squad and a half.”
“You know what? I would even say that if you get those two, keep everyone else and sort out your left-back situation, I think you’ll have the best possible chance of winning the Champions League the following season.”
Arsenal returned to the Champions League this season after a six-year absence from the competition.

The Gunners finished top of their group and beat Porto in the round of 16, but were defeated 3-2 on aggregate by Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals.
However, Isak and Guimaraes would certainly increase their chances as both players are among the best in their respective positions.
The former has scored 23 goals in all competitions this season, including 19 in the Premier League, and the latter has been a consistent midfielder for Newcastle.
Given their contributions, both could prove costly signings should they move from Tyneside to North London.
Arsenal, as league leaders, still have a chance to win their first league title in 20 years by the summer.
They are a point ahead of Manchester City with three games to go, but the reigning champions still have a game in hand and will overtake them if they win it.
