Arsenal cult hero Wojciech Szczesny is part of a three-man shortlist to potentially replace Aaron Ramsdale, according to The Pitch Prospect.
The 34-year-old was a huge fan favorite during his time at the Emirates after coming through the academy and becoming the club’s number one.

After falling out of favor under Arsene Wenger, which resulted in him being loaned out to Roma for two years, he moved to Juventus in 2017.
But he could now face a surprise return to north London as Arsenal look for a backup goalkeeper should Ramsdale leave this summer.
The England goalkeeper is believed to be on Newcastle’s radar with the 25-year-old looking for a first-team appearance next season.
Ramsdale has lost his place in the squad to David Raya this season and Arsenal are expected to convert the Spaniard’s £25m loan deal into a permanent move.
And that has left Arsenal looking for a replacement – ideally a homegrown player to help them comply with Premier League rules.
Hale End graduate Szczesny fits the bill, although it remains to be seen whether he would be happy to be Raya’s replacement, with the player still Juve’s first choice between the posts.
Brighton’s Jason Steele, who has shared goal with Bart Verbruggen this season, is also admired by Arsenal.

Anthony Patterson has also caught the eye of Arsenal having impressed as Sunderland’s No. 1 over the last two seasons.
It is expected to be a busy summer at the Emirates and a top-class striker is considered a candidate.
And Arteta is also looking to strengthen his midfield, with Newcastle star Bruno Guimaraes linked with a stunning move.
