Aston Villa Manager Unai Emery insisted that no decision about a possible permanent move For Marcus Rashford in summer.
After Rashford borrowed Manchester United in January in January, he scored four templates and goals for Villa and reached twice in the FA Cup quarter-finals in the 3-0 victory on Sunday against Preston North End.
It was initially reported that the villa has the opportunity to permanently sign Rashford for 40 million GBP, although since then it has claimed that United wants to do business in more detail of 60 million GBP.
When asked whether a decision about Rashford’s future after the FA Cup victory had been made, Emery insisted on it: “Not yet.
“The most important thing is now and this afternoon the challenge to recover and then prepare for the match against Brighton. A decision about every single player is to get the best of you and the best of ourselves. We don’t want to waste time to think about it.”
In his part, Rashford confessed that he has enjoyed his football since moving to the villa in January.
“It is a great feeling, I have the feeling that I have been fitter since my game and played football better.” It is obviously nice that a striker reaches a goal, so hopefully further.
“I think we just have to take one game after the other and give it 100% on the field and see where it leads. We are a very ambitious team – we want to win and try to get as far as possible in all competitions, and we also want to urge to get back into the top 4.
“I think I can still be fitter. I missed a lot of football before I follow with you. In the minute in which my body feels good, I am injury -free and I enjoy my football, so everything is good for now.”
