Aston Villa has secured the loan signing by Paris Saint-Germain attacker Marco Asensio for the rest of the season.
Towards the end of a busy transfer window for the villa in January, after recruiting Marcus Rashford, Donyell Malen and Andres Garcia, Diego Carlos unloaded and invited Jhon Duran.
Rashford commented on Villa’s ambition as a motivating factor for his move by Manchester United and also brought a three-time Champions League winner in Asensio.

The 29-year-old Spaniard was considered the great hope of Real Madrid at the beginning of his career and finally played 286 times for the club before a free transfer from 2023 to PSG. Asensio fought with an injury during his debut campaign with France and was from December, even though he established himself as a medium-striking option in the early stages of this season.
In the Premier League table, the villa occupies eighth place, but in touching distance – four points – the TOP 4 if you want to secure the Champions League qualification for the second time in a row. The Unai Emery team is also in the last 16 of the European Elite Club competition for this season and sets recruitment in January to give you the best chance.
In 2018, UEFA removed the rules for the cup-bound person, which means that Asensio can play a role in the next part of Villa Champions League, even after it has already represented PSG in Europe this season.
