Real Madrid has a 2-1 lead against the Crosstown rival Atletico Madrid in the 16-decided Champions League round on Wednesday evening.
Last Tuesday it was a night with breathtaking goals when Rodrygo and Brahim Diaz found the back of the network with precise efforts between Julian Alvarez ‘evil Equalizer.
Atleti seemed to be satisfied with a single target deficit in the dying embers of the first leg, although Madrid had a chance to achieve a third when Kylian Mbappe broke behind, but did not find Vinicius Junior’s feet with a fairly simple cross. Will this moment return to bite the owners?
Carlo Ancelotti’s side has a knack in this competition and they had Atleti on the continental stage. Diego Simeon’s Rojiblancos was beaten in the final of the Champions League of Madrid during the 2010s.
The hosts will create a bit of history on Wednesday, but they take the competition from the back of a 2-1 defeat at Getafe, in which their hopes of the La Liga title score a considerable goal. Madrid defeated Rayo Vallecano 2-1 to close the gap in Barcelona.
Here is 90 minutes Guide to this crunch second leg.

Cesar Azpilicueta returned to the Matchday squad at the weekend, but the former captain of Chelsea is unlikely to play a role on Wednesday. Clement Lenglet is also a doubt, while the experienced midfielder Koke will be missed again.
Atleti is set up from the Bernabeu in a similar way, with Samuel Lino preferred to make Gallagher down to the left. Julian Alvarez will work with Antoine Griezmann, but Lenglet’s status could force Robin Le Normand into the team.
Atletico predicted the line-up against Real Madrid (4-4-2): Oblak; Llorente, Gimenez, Le Normand, Galan; Simeone, de Paul, Barrios, Lino; Alvarez, Griezmann.
Ancelotti was able to offer Federico Valverde, Antonio Rudiger, Ferland Mendy and Eduardo Camavavinga at the weekend, but Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius started and scored 2-1 by Madrid.
Jude Bellingham is available after he has missed the first leg through suspension, and the Englishman is expected to be fine, even though he knocks on Sunday. Goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is also reclaimed by a small knee problem.
Dani Ceballos was able to return due to a thigh injury earlier than expected, but he will only play again after the international break. Dani Carvajal and Eder Militao are long -term absences.
Real Madrid predicted the line-up against Atletico (4-2-3-1): Courtois; Valverde, Rudiger, Ascio, Mendy; Tchouameni, Camavinga; Rodrygo, Bellingham, Vinicius; Mbappe.
It feels like the high -quality affair of last week was only a teaser for what is supposed to develop in the metropolitano. This may not be a nice competition, but the missions are enormous at this relatively early stage of the knockout phase.
Atleti will feel that the tie was in balance, and you have sometimes made Madrid suffer on your home patch recently.
This will inevitably be a slog festival, and the hosts can enjoy the better of the game despite what we normally associate on the great opportunity. In this competition, however, Ancelotti and his Madrid team have something to do. This screams for a competition that you escape at the shortest edge.
