Barcelona front-three break Messi, Suarez & Neymar goalscoring record

It feels like Barcelona has almost stumbled across the productive front three that the club has ever seen in the Champions League this season.

Robert Lewandowski is almost 37 years old, an age in which even Lionel Messi slows down. Lamine Yamal is not even 18 and does things that nobody thought of a so boy. In the meantime, the club tried the most difficult last summer to replace Raphhinha with a very public pursuit of Nico Williams.

Between them, however, the Trio Barcelona drove only a second title in La Liga in six seasons. Her Champions League trip ended on Tuesday evening at the semi-finals, only a late breakdown of a first final in a decade.

When the Catalans were recently crowned by European champions in 2014/15, Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar, who lovingly referred to as “MSN” and are described as legends for their collective achievements this season, 27 in competition – ten for Messi and Neymar, seven for Suarez.

After two legs of the semi -finals this season against Inter against Inter, the Lewandowski (11), Yamal (five), Raphhinha (13) ended trio with 29 and exceeded MSN. Raphhinha, who, due to the surprisingly large figures, which he performed in all competitions in all competitions when Ballon d’Or candidate occurred-together with Borussia Dortmund’s Serhou Guirassy.

But this torecoring record for the three front three is ultimately little consolation.

Barcelona had a target in the Champions League final, which led 3-2 and a total of 6: 5 with only three minutes plus stop time in the night.

After Hansi Flick was traveled 2-0 in the first leg at home in the first leg at home, he fell back by two goals in Milan. But three goals in the second half without further answers from Eric Garcia, Dani Olmo and Raphinha looked as if it were enough to set one date on Saturday, May 31st, either against Paris Saint-Germain or Arsenal in the Allianz Arena of Munich’s alliance.

But Francesco Acerbi scored the score both during the night and overall in the interruption before Davide Frattesi Inter progressed in the extension of nine minutes.

Inter will now contest a second Champions League final in three seasons after losing just against Manchester City two years ago. But the waiting of Barcelona extends into an 11th year.
