The Barcelona playmaker Dani Olmo is said to be offside for at least two weeks and exclude him from a crucial flood of games.
Olmo lasted less than half an hour at Barcelona’s 3-0 victory over Osasuna on Thursday evening. That was enough time for the trembling midfielder to score a penalty (and missed one) before crumpling the lawn with an adductor problem.
When he limp from the field, Olmo looked visibly desperate. The manager of Barcelona, Hansi Flick, was not entirely pleased either.
The middle of the week was hurriedly postponed after the tragic existence of the Club Club Doctor from Barcelona, Carles Minarro Garcia. The Catalan outfit and Osasuna both made the new date that was hot after the international break from March.
Barcelona was without her star striker Raphinha when he competed against Argentina less than 48 hours ago in Buenos Aires. Olmo was also involved in international duty and had last week in the Spanish nations games in the Netherlands against the Netherlands. The 26-year-old played 84 minutes just four days before the start of Osasuna.
“It’s not a good thing,” Flick smoked after his team’s 3-0 win. “It wasn’t the right time for this game. After the international games, this was not good. We have three more points, but we paid a high price for Dani’s injury.”
While Olmo will go through further tests on Friday, Mundo Deportivo Report that he is expected to be at least two weeks, if not three, for at least two weeks. Barcelona will be exposed to decisive institutions in the last fourteen days in the last phases of the Copa del Rey and the Champions League.
After the Catalan derby on Sunday against Girona in La Liga, Barcelona will travel to the capital in Atletico Madrid on Wednesday, April 2 in a crucial Copa del Rey semi-final with the tie level after a 4: 4 draw in the first leg.
Flick’s team will organize a real Betis in the league next weekend, but most of the focus will be moving to the first leg of her quarter -finals of the Champions League on Wednesday, April 9, April 9th. If Olmo fails for three or more weeks, he will miss the second leg of this European draw, which is currently planned for April 15.
