Barcelona learn final Dani Olmo registration decision

The Spanish government’s sporty arm faced on the Barcelona side of Barcelona to ensure that Hansi Flick can continue to play Dani Olmo and Pau Victor for the rest of the season.

Olmo and Victor were unintentionally in the epicenter of a heated saga between Barcelona and the leading corpses of Spanish football. The two players arrived last summer and could not be registered immediately because the Catalan giants in their La Liga budget had no place to do justice to their salaries.

Long -term violations of other squad members allowed Barcelona to offer its recruits temporary registrations, but could not agree to new conditions before they expired at the end of 2024. Olmo and Victor were then rejected by La Liga’s official website as Spain-Top flight to sign the players two different registrations with the same club in the same season.

After rejecting several appeals from La Liga and the Spanish Football Contribution (RFEF), Barcelona went to the Consjo Superior de Deportes (CSD), the highest sports association in Spain. The CSD gave Olmo and Victor another temporary registration, while he was considering the complicated case in January, and finally came to a decision three months later.

Instead of questioning the financial restrictions that were imposed by La Liga, Barcelona argued that the refusal of Olmo and Victor violated their signs of the labor law of every player. The Catalans also insisted that the rule that prevent several registrations in a single campaign was “outdated”.

If the CSD had not been prevented with Barcelona on the Barcelona and Victor website, to take part in a competition for the rest of the season.

However, Barcelona will have the same headache when it comes to naming your squad for the 2025/26 campaign, as you are still transmitted via your budget from La League. On Wednesday, Spain’s top flight decided that the sale of VIP seats of EUR 100 million was never went through in the new Camp Nou and was left out of the clubs published in January.

The leaders of La Liga either have to seal or sell this deal this summer to ensure that you can register all of your players and avoid this economic arm rings again.
