Barcelona wants to expand Raphinha’s contract while preparing for an exit when the 2026 World Cup comes in Spain.
The 28-year-old was the most outstanding player of an impressive season by Barcelona’s most outstanding player and recorded 24 goals and 18 templates in 38 appearances in all competitions.
In addition to Lamine Yamal and Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha plays in a devastating talented front. He has increased his game to previously invisible levels and is now considered one of the best wingers in the world.
Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo Report that Barcelona, who recently extended the contracts of Pedri, Gavi, Pau Comatarsi, Ronald Araujo and Inigo Martinez, to hand over fresh terms, the latter should already be waiting for a proposal on the table.
Raphinha is described as a loyal in Barcelona, with clear goals to help the club win La league and challenge for the Champions League. Despite its brilliance, however, it is claimed that the Catalan giants also look at the overall picture and know how much income a sale could generate for the cash slap club.
Raphhinha’s current offer includes a buyout clause of EUR 1 billion, although it may be very well reduced to a more realistic sum in order to give future applicants. A similar approach is said to have been adopted for Araujo, which extended his contract until 2030, but remains a staple for transmission gossip columns.
