Barcelona Sporting Director Deco has warned competitive clubs that they will ever have a chance to sign the teenager Superstar Lamine Yamal.
Yamal achieved an enormous influence in Barcelona and was probably the most important player in the club last season when he was only 16 years old.
Paris Saint-Germain made an offer of € 250 million for Yamal last summer. According to the presidential advisor Enric Masip, a few months later, it was “never considered”.
Deco has now repeated that the sale of Yamal would be a non -starter at any price.
“There are important players and he is one. There is no discussion, there is no price. There were no offers because we didn’t even want to talk about it” TV3.
“He will probably be in Barca for many years, like Pedri and Gavi. No matter how well things go, they will end up here.
“Lamine Yamal is one of the special. He not only has talent. He also has a different spiritual capacity. The club has to do its homework and it will be here for many years.”
Yamal has not signed a contract since October 2023 and his current business will take place at the end of the next season. However, its publication clause is already set in an unaffordable EUR 1 billion, and it is assumed that an agreement on a new long -term contract has been reached by 2030. Yamal himself said publicly last month that he believes that the contract will be signed “soon”.
Barcelona learned her lesson when it comes to publishing clauses. The 1 billion EUR from Yamal fits the remaining top stars of the club, a similar guideline that has been working for Real Madrid for more than a decade. But the Catalans had to be burned before they followed the example and lost Neymar against their will when PSG triggered a release clause of € 222 million in summer 2017.
