Bukayo Saka inspires again with school uniforms donation for struggling families

Bukayo Saka has again shown why he is one of the most admired personalities of English football and took the time out to donate a thousand school uniforms to families who have to deal with the cost of living.

Saka came from Ealing and gave the uniforms at four local schools, including Greenford High, where he studied as a teenager.

Arsenal and England’s wing player personally attended the school to surprise the students, sign autographs for photos, and to distribute the uniforms to the needy.

Saka divided pictures of the day on Instagram and wrote: “Special day to start our school uniform project. Many thanks to all schools, our partners and everyone else who helped us to give the students.”

In 2022, Saka received the freedom of the district to recognize young people in recognition of his sporting achievements and his positive influence on young people after his outstanding achievements at UEFA Euro 2020.

In the meantime, there is a striking mural from Saka outside the Greenford High, which was painted in 2021 at the suggestion of a student and celebrates his promotion from the local school boy to a football star.

It is clear that Ealing Saka’s community loves – and he loves it right back – use its platform to inspire both on and outside the field.
