The current manager of Real Madrid, Carlo Ancelotti, has already agreed to take over the Brazilian men’s national team this summer.
The future of Ancelotti seemed to be seen until at least the summer of 2026 after led Madrid in the 2023/24 campaign to a rare Champions League La League double. As many managers have discovered in the past – including the Italian himself, no coach in the Santiago Bernabeu -sheds can feel too comfortable.
After saying goodbye to the Champions League in the quarter -finals, several outlets effectively confirmed the departure of Ancelotti this season. After the last defeat on Saturday against Barcelona on Saturday, Brazil always became confident that they could appoint the worshiped manager this summer.
Now, Marca claim that an agreement was finally made between the Brazilian football cereration (CBF) and Ancelotti. Everything that is missing is the signature of the 65-year-old. Fabrizio Romano suggests that his salary with Ancelotti, an assistant coach of Italy in the early nineties, was solved in order to become one of the best paid national team managers in the world.
ESPN Go so far to call the date of May 26th as if the CBF Ancelotti is expected in Rio de Janeiro. That would only take a day after Real Madrid is supposed to organize Real Sociedad in her last game of the season in La League in La Liga -Match.
There is still the possibility that Ancelotti can win another top title before it starts in a fire in fame. Madrid are only four points from Barcelona in the league and will still have to face the Catalan giants in an almighty Clasico next month.
A May exit for Ancelotti would prevent him from leading the squad to the newly expanded FIFA Club World Championship of this summer.
Madrid begins the campaign against Saudi giants Al Hilal on June 18. If the capital outfit Xabi Alonso cannot appoint Ancelotti as a constant successor, there was speculation that the former player and manager Santiago Solari could take over on an intermediate basis.
