Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that Kylian Mbappe will travel with Real Sociedad with the Real Madrid squad for Copa del Rey on Wednesday, although he could not train due to a dental problem.
Madrid made the trip to Real Sociedad for the first leg of her semi -finals, but saw that her preparations were shaken by a medical problem for Mbappe. Spanish media revealed that the Frenchman had removed a tooth the eve of the game.
Ancelotti called for an update to Mbappe’s condition and insisted that the superstar striker claims on Wednesday.
“Mbappe travels,” Ancelotti told the media. “He had a problem with a tooth and couldn’t train.
“He travels tomorrow and can play. Anyone who travels has the chance to play the game.”
Marca State Mbappe could start the Sociedad game on the bench, and Ancelotti prioritizes the upcoming collision from La Liga with Real Betis and Madrids Champions League with the City Rival Atletico.
Federico Valverde is likely to be excluded from the game on Wednesday for similar reasons, while goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is also rested because Andriy Lunin has another chance to impress in Copa del Rey.
