Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could soon take his talents to Scotland.
According to Sky Sports, Celtic are interested in signing the 35-time England international.

What works in Celtic’s favor is the fact that Oxlade-Chamberlain is a free agent, meaning they can sign him at any time.
However, if Celtic want to support Oxlade-Chamberlain in their Europa League campaign, they will need to complete the deal sooner rather than later.
According to UEFA regulations, clubs competing in the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League must submit their squad lists for the knockout rounds by midnight on Thursday.
Teams in the three European club competitions are allowed to make a maximum of three changes to the squads they submitted for the league phase.
Celtic face German club Stuttagrt in their Europa League play-off game for a place in the round of 16. The first leg will take place on February 19th and the second leg on February 26th.
How did “The Ox” stay fit after leaving Besiktas?
Oxlade-Chamberlain has been without a club since leaving Besiktas in August.
However, the 32-year-old maintained his fitness by training at Arsenal, a club where he played for six years.
Oxlade-Chamberlain, who has been training with the Gunners since November, even played for Arsenal’s under-21 team in a behind-closed-doors friendly against Manchester United last December.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is clearly happy with the way Oxlade-Chamberlain has been training as he refused to rule out a move for his former team-mate after it was revealed Mikel Merino had broken his foot.
Asked about the prospect of signing Oxlade-Chamberlain, Arteta replied: “We are looking at every option.”

But if Arsenal decide not to sign Oxlade-Chamberlain, Celtic could be ready to make a move.
Celtic have a lot to do in January
The Hoops were relatively active in January, signing Junior Adamu, Julian Araujo and Tomas Cvancara from Freiburg, Bournemouth and Borussia Mönchengladbach.
All three are on loan until the end of the 2025/26 season.
Outside the transfer window, the season has been quite turbulent for the Hoops.
Brendan Rodgers started the season as manager but resigned in October, leading to revered Celtic manager Martin O’Neill being pushed into the managerial hot seat until a replacement was found.
But Wilfried Nancy, Rodgers’ permanent successor, proved to be a managerial disaster and was sacked after just over a month.

Nancy’s sacking prompted O’Neill to act as interim coach for a second time this season, with the Northern Irishman now in charge for the remainder of the 2025/26 season.
During O’Neill’s two interim periods, he oversaw 12 wins, two draws and one loss.
