Chelsea learn extent of Noni Madueke hamstring injury

Chelsea should be without injured Wing player Noni Madueke until after March International Break has announced a report.

Madueke limp 3-0 against Brighton & Hove Albion last week, and Manager Enzo Maresca admitted that he feared that the wing player could be on the side for a while.

Now, The Telegraph have announced that Madueke will be out of operation until after the international break towards the end of March.

While the news of Madueke’s absence for Chelsea is an obvious blow, it is assumed that he gives a certain trust that he has avoided a significant injury and does not need a longer recreation phase, as was originally feared.

Madueke closes until after the international break from March on the sidelines on the sidelines, while striker Marc Guiu concludes a trio of thigh injuries. According to Maresca, there are concerns that the latter could miss “several weeks or even months”.

Chelsea is currently in the middle of a miserable form and the loss of Madueke does not help Maresca’s offer to stop her slump. Christopher Nkunku, Jadon Sancho, Pedro Neto and Tyrique George are the only senior options that stand next to Cole Palmer in Chelsea’s attack line.

Before March International Break, Chelsea has games against Aston Villa, Southampton, Leicester City and Arsenal. Tottenham Hotspur on April 2.
