Chelsea have reached a verbal agreement regarding Leicester midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, The Pitch Prospect has learned.
The 25-year-old played a crucial role in the Foxes’ return to the Premier League last season, scoring 12 goals and providing 14 assists in 44 games.

Dewsbury-Hall has been at Leicester since he was eight years old but is set to make a move from the King Power Stadium in the summer.
As The Pitch Prospect reported, Brighton were keen to sign him after a transfer fell through during the January transfer window.
But Chelsea has taken the first step, as Enzo Maresca is keen to reunite with his former star.
Chelsea are believed to have reached agreement on a £30 million deal.

Dewsbury-Hall has made 129 appearances for Leicester in all competitions, making his senior debut in January 2020.
He was named in the 2023/24 Championship team and voted the Foxes’ player of the season by fans and players.
In the victorious season, Dewsbury-Hall played 49 games under Maresca, who has since moved to Stamford Bridge.

At the beginning of June, the Italian’s move as the new head coach of Chelsea FC was confirmed.
Given the success Maresca has had with Dewsbury-Hall, it probably wouldn’t be a surprise if the two potentially collaborated again.
Chelsea have already confirmed two new signings for this summer; the first is free transfer centre-back Tosin Adarabioyo.
The Blues also announced that they have agreed a deal with Brazilian club Palmeiras for Estevao Willian, who will join the club next summer.
