Chelsea revamp club classics with new ‘Reimagined Icons’ apparel line


Chelsea has some of the club’s most iconic clothing in a new clothing in a limited edition with the title “Iconal icons new. “

The collection contains six unique elements, each with a key chapter in the history of Chelsea. Six talented London designers have taken these classic pieces and changed them – not to simply repeat the past, but to reinterpret and modernize them for today’s fans.

The line begins with the Royal Blue Crew from 1906, a camouflage jersey, inspired by the early years when Chelsea accepted its characteristic Royal Blue color. Afterwards, the Ted Drake Bomber, a contemporary version of the blazer, is known from players under the manager Ted Drake in the 1950s.

The lively Renaissance route jacket pays homage to Chelsea’s successful ‘Italian Renaissance’ era in the 1990s.

The Gianluca sweater and kings of Europe Jersey.

Also included is the Gianluca sweater, an elegant black garment that reinterprets the legendary sweater by Manager Gianluca Vialli during the unforgettable 2000 -FA -Cup win in Wembley in Chelsea. The Kings of Europe Jersey brings the bold black shirt, which was worn under Roberto di Matteo, new energy when Chelsea raised its first Champions League trophy in 2012.

Finally, the collection contains the rings of the champions, a modern interpretation of the rings that Emma Hayes presents at the end of her legendary term as head coach of Chelsea women.

This limited collection is now online and is available in the Stamford Bridge Megastore. Produced with just a small number, it offers real Chelsea fans a rare opportunity to own a piece of the club’s rich inheritance – newly introduced for the modern era.
