The English manager Sarina Wiegman admits that Chloe Kelly did not play enough to earn her place in the Lionesses squad for the upcoming league of the nations.
The 26-year-old was a main support in the English squad in the last seasons and is known to achieve the winning goal that crowned the nation European Champions under the arch of the Wembley Stadium in 2022.
After Kelly started only one of the WSL games in Manchester City (WSL) before Christmas, he completed a Deadline change to Arsenal with the intention of “having the best shot to represent my country” in the coming euros Switzerland.
Wiegman left Kelly from the English squad to face both Portugal and Spain in the upcoming games of the UEFA Women’s Nations League.

Before she made her loan to Arsenal, Kelly expressed her dissatisfaction with Manchester City and informed the fans on social media that she was “dictated, who I can join or not”. The striker concluded: “I just want to be happy again.”
