Mohamed Mansou, owner of San Diego FCHe has insisted he would be open to bringing Mohamed Salah to the club this summer.
However, he revealed that he will not be the only one who will decide whether the Egyptian moves from Liverpool to the MLS team.

Salah will become a free agent at the end of the current Premier League season.
The 33-year-old confirmed on Tuesday he was leaving the Reds after nine trophy-filled years at Anfield.
Despite his contract not expiring until 2027, Liverpool have agreed to let Salah leave on a free transfer 12 months early.
TalkSPORT understands that a move to MLS or Saudi Pro League club Al Ittihad is an option for the winger.

MLS’ newest club, San Diego, has already thrown its hat into the ring for his signature.
Owner Mansour has confirmed he is interested in bringing Salah to Snapdragon Stadium.
However, the British-Egyptian billionaire has admitted that the transfer would depend on whether he suits their playing style.
Speaking to The Pitch Prospect’s Ben Jacobs, Mansour was asked if he would be interested in signing Salah, to which he replied: “I think every team around the world would be interested.”
“He’s a great player, he’s a great professional, he’s maintained his athleticism and professionalism.”
“But the way we run the San Diego Football Club, like any other company I run, has responsible people.”

“In management we have Tyler Heaps, a great athletic director, and Mikey Varas, a great coach – they are the ones who will decide these things.”
“Of course we have to see how it fits our style of play.”
“He has done amazing things for Liverpool. If you travel anywhere in the Middle East, not even Egypt, you see Liverpool shirts with Mo Salah on the back. He is world class.”
“As an Egyptian, I am of Egyptian descent, I am now a British citizen, I am also proud to be British, it means a lot to me to see someone who has maintained this level of professionalism.”
Could San Diego sign Salah?
Asked whether he would consider the deal if it were up to him, Mansour added: “If I had a voice as a fan, yes, I would. But the decision… it’s a deal.”
“In today’s sport, people think it’s a ball, and the people who run, no. We employ 180 people. So every decision made has to make sense. It has to fit our style of play.”

“There are many, many challenges, but every company has a challenge.
“So would we be honored to have someone like (Salah) and would we be happy to have him? Of course I would be, like everyone else.”
“But the decision is business. The decision is business. The decision depends on the fit and the style of play.”
“We have the ‘Right to Dream’ style of play, which is different. That’s why our style of play is different. Whether this fits or that fits, it has to fit.”
San Diego, founded in 2023, played its first MLS season last year.
Mikey Varas’ team won the Western Conference, but lost in the conference finals of the MLS playoffs.

His squad already includes players such as Mexican international Hirving Lozano and Scot Lewis Morgan.
As for Salah, his ten goals make it 255 in 435 appearances for Liverpool this season.
These figures make him the club’s highest-scoring non-British player of all time, with his goals winning him the Premier League Golden Boot four times.
Salah has also won nine trophies with the Reds, including the Champions League and two Premier League titles.
