Dean Henderson quickly becomes a fan favorite in Crystal Palace, not only because of his appearances on the field, but also for his down -to -earth generosity.
After Henderson played a leading role against Manchester City against Manchester City last season last season – a historic moment that Palace did the first big trophy – Henderson was again the hero in the Community Shield Showdown against Liverpool.
In front of a humming audience at the Wembley Stadium, the English international goalkeeper achieved decisive parades during the penalty shootout and played both Alexis Mac Allister and Harvey Elliott. His heroicism helped Oliver Glaser’s team to win the trophy and start the new season with style.
But Henderson’s Goodwill did not stop here.
After the game, he made a surprising visit to a local pub in which he posed for selfies with fans. According to reports, he reported a tab trailer of £ 1,000 in a spacious gesture and invited the Palace supporters to enjoy a few drinks.
“Legend. Get Total this club.”, A fan wrote next to a selfie with the goalkeeper on Instagram.
Dean Henderson just stopped at the arms and omitted an £ 1K at the bar to buy us all a drink. Legend. Get this club totally. Prost 🍺❤️💙 pic.twitter.com/c6jokztshj

However, a fan went even more valuable than a few drinks and a selfie.
After winning the penalty shootout, Henderson accidentally left his water bottle at the goal post. It was a cheat leaf on which the punishment of the punishment of Liverpool was described – including correctly how both Mac Allister and Elliott would fit with their rescued efforts.
This bottle found its way into the hands of a happy supporter and gave them a certified piece of crystal palace – and Wembley – history.
