At Talksport, Ally McCoist moderator and former Rangers hero asked whether Everton would get the chance to strengthen themselves before entering their new 800 million pound stadium.
“Will you be busy on the market, do you think?” said McCoist.
Moyes replied: “I think we’ll be.
“The new owners came in and we try to find our way with them. They are Americans and we only try to meet things.”
He continued: “So there are many things that we want to set up. I have a good idea of what the club needs and what people want. And to move to a new stadium and what it will mean for them.
“I suspect that we are well supported on the transfer market.
“I don’t think it will be outrageous, but I think we will be able to do a little business.”
In December 2024, Farhad Moshiri sold its share of 94.1 percent to Everton to the California businessman Dan Friedkin.
The takeover, which, according to sources, was worth between 400 and 500 million GBP, converted the debts into equity and made Moshiri a loss in his investment of 700 million GBP.
During the deal, Friedkin agreed to finance the final financing of the stadium train in addition to the daily running costs, including wages.

Moyes reflected on his former club and said: “I am enthusiastic about Sunderland because you also know it is a great football club.
“I probably got her in your story in a bad time. And I am so excited that you work up again.
“You have a lot of support, a huge stadium. But you have a big game against Sheffield United, who will undoubtedly go into the final as favorites.”
