The astute fans of Manchester United are convinced that Sofyan Amrabat will extend his stay at the club.
Amrabat moved to Old Trafford on a season-long loan from Fiorentina on deadline day in 2023. The Serie A club received a loan fee of £8.5 million.

The loan deal also offered United the chance to sign the Moroccan international permanently for around £25 million, but the club decided not to take the opportunity.
Although Amrabat has now returned to Fiorentina, some Red Devils fans do not believe he will play in Serie A this season.
On United’s website, Amrabat is the first name that appears in the midfield section of the squad list.
In addition, the 27-year-old is pictured in United’s 24/25 home shirt.
Interestingly, the club has parted ways with players such as Anthony Martial, Brandon Williams and Raphael Varane, all of whom left on free transfers.
A return for Amrabat to Old Trafford may not be ruled out as Red Devils boss Erik ten Hag is on the lookout for a new midfielder.
The club have been heavily linked with Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Manuel Ugarte, but the Ligue 1 heavyweight’s asking price has cooled United’s interest.
According to The Athletic, a move for Sander Berge from Burnley was also discussed.
Amrabat struggled with consistency during his season at United, starting only 15 of the 30 games he played in.
The 27-year-old has just returned to training with Fiorentina after hoping for a move to United.

He could have ended up at Fenerbahce, now coached by legend José Mourinho, but the Turkish giants turned down a £9 million offer for Amrabat.
Fiorentina sporting director Daniele Prade said in June that he hoped Amrabat would stay at the club, but did not expect this to be the case.
“I would keep him in Florence, but that doesn’t seem to be what he’s planning,” Prade said.
“I think he wants to stay in the Premier League, but we haven’t heard from anyone since.”
Amrabat has made 107 appearances for Fiorentina since joining from fellow Serie A club Hellas Verona in January 2020.
