Josh Duffus had to change his nationality to complete Brighton this week.
The England Youth International signed Saint-Etienne for the French side, but had to make a big change to join them.

The 20-year-old Duffus, who was born in Lambeth in London, represented his country at the U17 and U19 level.
His last hat came in a collision with the USA in March 2024.
However, he now seems to have given up any potential future that is played again for England after changing his nationality.
Saint-Etienne was originally unable to sign Duffus from Brighton, as the Ligue 2 limit for non-EU players.
Clubs are only allowed to register two players who do not come from countries in the EU, and they have already filled these slots.
English players are now counted as a non-EU player because Great Britain leaves the European Union.
It meant that Duffus had to carry out drastic measures to seal the movement.
According to reports in France, he received a Jamaican pass through his mother and now has citizenship.
It enabled Saint-Etienne to register him in her squad.
Duffus signed a four -year contract with the Ligue 2 Club.

“I can barely wait for it”
Duffus clearly wanted to move from Brighton to Saint-Etienne and he is looking forward to getting started.
After completing his move, he said: “I join a huge club that is inevitably connected to an incredible stadium in which I can hardly wait to celebrate my debut.
“I want to help bring this club back up where it belongs.
“To do this, I would like to bring intensity to the team on the field, and above all I hope to be determined and score goals.”
The new manager Eirik Horneland added: “We are very pleased that Joshua joins us. He brings both presence and attack performance while he always works hard for the team.
“He complements our strikers with new skills. He is young, ambitious and brings positive energy into our daily training sessions.”
Duffus also sent a warm message to Brighton when he left after an eight -year spell in the club.
The striker joined her youth team in 2017 and played over 80 times for the U18 and U21s.
He also appeared in the Europa League.
Duffus wrote on X: After 8 years at Brighton & Hove Albion, it’s time to say goodbye.
“I would like to thank all players, coaches, employees and fans for all their support throughout my time in the club, and I wish you all the best in the future.
“Thank you very much.”
