Enzo Maresca offers potential return date for injured Chelsea striker

Chelsea Manager Enzo Maresca has repeated his trust that striker Nicolas Jackson will be available again after the international break in March.

Jackson fell under a thigh problem at the beginning of February and the blues fought for goals in his absence, with a injury to the third highest goal scorer Noni Madueke fought with a drop in the form of Talisman Cole Palmer.

However, Chelsea did not suffer for long without Jackson when Maresca shared at a press conference on Wednesday that the Senegal international is on the right track to return next to Madueke after the international break.

“He could be back, probably after the international break,” said Maresca “he and Noni too.

“These are good news. Before the international break, we have two games – tomorrow and Sunday – and then we have an international break, we can regain energy, regain players and then go last time [bit of the season]. “

Chelsea will face Copenhagen on Thursday in the second stage of her conference league and tries to book her place in the next round after a 2-1 win in the first leg before a big trip to Arsenal brings the blues into the international break.

Jackson and Madueke will hope to be back in action for the London derby against Tottenham Hotspur on April 3.

In the meantime, REECE JAMES has returned to training after leaving Leicester City on weekends because of an illness that was plagued by the changing room. Cole Palmer played against the foxes through illness, and Christopher Nkunku has been put down in the past few days, although all three are involved with the group again.
