Enzo Maresca has admitted that Chelsea will be “for a while” without wing players noni Madueke Injury Friday defeat against Brighton & Hove Albion.

A 21-minute down to the right wing ended with Madueke kept his knee tendon, and it immediately became clear that he could not go on and opened the gate in her convincing 3-0 victory six minutes before Brighton.

It was a miserable evening for Chelsea and Maresca admitted after the game that Madueke’s injury had continued the mood.

“Unfortunately, Noni has a knee tendon problem and will no longer look for a while,” confirmed the Chelsea boss.

At least there was some positive news about the right -back Malo Gusto, who left the second half with a knock.

“Malo is okay,” Maresca assured the fans.

Madueke joins Nicolas Jackson and Marcu Guiu on the treatment table, who, when he has been added to Mykhailo Mudryk’s suspension, leaves Chelsea incredibly limited when it comes to attack options.

Jadon Sancho, Pedro Neto and 19-year-old Tyrique George are the only natural wingers who are available to Maresca, who also operated on without natural strikers. Christopher Nkunku made himself with Cole Palmer in a false nine experiment, who did not inspire a single shot on the destination against Brighton on Friday.
