The former boss of Manchester United, Erik Ten Hag, was associated with the vacant Feyenoord management position, according to a report in the Netherlands.
Ten HAG has had no job since United’s dismissal at the end of October. The former Ajax boss was routinely discovered on the area sent all over Europe. Borussia Dortmund was very interested in the 55-year-old before finally creating Niko Kovac for an 18-month deal.
Nevertheless, the three -month magic of HAG in the wilderness could have come to an end. Dutch publication ADVERTISEMENT are one of several branches who report that Feyenoord consider the three-time Eredivisie champion as a constant replacement for the dismissed Brian Priske.
Priske is a strange case. The respected Danish trainer was appointed after Arne Slot came to Liverpool in summer and Feyenoord inserted into the KO -Phase of the Champions League – a performance that neither slot nor another boss in the history of the club can surpass.
Feyenoords General and Technical Director Dennis Te Kloseer explained Priskes dismissal as a result of “too little structural progress”.
“As a professional and as a person, I still stop Brian high,” continued Te Klosee. “Sometimes, however, you have to come to the conclusion that despite all the good intentions, things simply do not work and that they have reached a point where there is not enough support to get ahead together.”
It remains unclear whether Ten HAG will be willing to take over Feyenoord, who also consider his former co -trainer of Manchester United, Rene Hake.
