Everton are trying to take advantage of Ipswich’s transfer of Hull winger Jaden Philogene, The Pitch Prospect has learned.
The Toffees have agreed a transfer fee of £16 million and are convinced that Philogene is in favour of a move to Goodison Park.

Crystal Palace are also interested in the former Aston Villa star, who Ipswich are keen to sign this summer.
The Tractor Boys were ready to make a double move to Hull, bringing in Philogene for £35 million alongside Jacob Greaves.
But Everton may have crashed the party and tried to poach Philiogene from under Ipswich’s nose.
The Pitch Prospect reported earlier this summer that Everton were interested in signing Philogene this summer.
Sean Dyche is desperate for more firepower in front of goal after a disappointing season.
Only Sheffield United scored fewer goals than the Toffees last season and Philogene would bolster Everton’s attack after a good season for Hull in the Championship.
The 22-year-old made headlines in February when he scored a sensational goal in the 2-1 win over Rotherham.
Dubbed the ‘Goal of the Century’ by fans, the striker left a defender standing before finishing with an exceptional rabona finish.

In total, Philogene scored twelve goals for the Tigers in the championship last season, as they narrowly missed out on the play-off places, and also contributed six assists.
Everton have already been busy this summer, announcing the signing of Tim Iroegbunam from Villa for £9 million last month after being impressed by the 20-year-old midfielder.
This transfer was followed by the return of Jack Harrison on another season-long loan deal from Leeds.
The Merseyside outfit are also expected to announce the permanent signing of former Sheffield United star Iliman Ndiaye from Marseille.
The Pitch Prospect understands that the Ligue 1 club hope to recoup most of the £20 million they paid the Blades in 2023.
