The former boss of Manchester United, Erik Ten Hag, has announced that he will return to management next season at the earliest.
The Talibrigal Dutch coach was released by United at the end of October after monitoring the worst start of the club in a Premier League season. The Red Devils were sunken with 11 points from nine games in 14th place when ten HAG received a lucrative remuneration package.
Ruben Amorim has experienced an even worse shape since the helmet of Old Trafford. The announced Portuguese head coach only has 15 points from just as many games – only the lower three of the division do not have better in the same period – and are currently in 15th place.
Ten HAG’s share has increased, while an increasingly demoralized amorim has to struggle with the same group of below -average players. The former Ajax boss was associated with the short -term free role in Borussia Dortmund and was thought of in conversation for the permanent position in Feyenoord, but has remained indescribable – a decision he claims is deliberately.
“I have already chosen myself: Ok, I will only do something on July 1st,” said the Dutch tactician of the in-house podcast series, which is operated by the agency that represents him, SEG stories.
In a number of clips that were published before the full interview on Tuesday, ten HAG also pointed out that he had “many heights” in management.
However, this should not distract from his question to perfection. “You always work on a point on the horizon, but you never come on the horizon,” said Ten Hag.
“I always say: ‘There is always room for improvements. And good is not good enough. You can do it better.'”
Interestingly, it was also shown that ten HAG admit: “If there is one thing that I miss, it is old Trafford.”
The 55-year-old had a broken relationship with United’s players and Raphael Varane recently unveiled and the club’s fan base for two and a half years of wildly mixed results. In addition to the maximum stalls of two domestic cup trophies, ten HAG also supervised several historical losses, including the most difficult defeat of United towards Archrival Liverpool.
The permanent image of Ten HAG in Old Trafford is that of the oppressed Dutch coach, which is solemnly under an open water currents that flows through the holes in the discharge roof of the stadium. In view of the current malaise of the club, some in Old Trafford could also miss ten HAG.
