Aston Villa is in conversations to bring the defender of Villarreal Juan Foyh back to the Premier League, Talksport understands.
The Villaners turned their attention to the 27-year-old after they had missed the Loic Bade of Seville.

The villa was interested in signing the 24-year-old in a potential transfer of £ 25 million, just to cut the Frenchman a move to the Midlands.
Bade determined any speech on a switch in January on Saturday evening: “I live in Seville, yes. I fully trust this project.”
As a result, the villa is now pushing with a move to secure the services of ex-Tottenham Center Back Foyth.
It is believed that the competitors of the Champions League have submitted an official proposal to call it up before the deadline on February 3.
The villa is on the market for a new mid-half that Diego Carlos sold to Fenerbahce worth £ 10 million.
In the meantime, the club is currently without Pau Torres, which will be out until March after a midfoot amount.
Foyh was connected to Estudiantes in 2017, but made no impression during his time in North London.
He was limited to only 32 appearances in all competitions – with 16 of his excursions in the Premier League.
After he had fallen back in the Hacktord, he was borrowed from Villarreal in 2020, where he became an important player under the now Villa boss Unai Emery.
Together, the couple helped the yellow submarine to win their first great honor in the history of the club – and beat Manchester United in the final of the Europa League.

Villarreal transformed his temporary stay in Spain into a permanent switch in 2021.
But he could now return to England to connect to Emery.
Talksport understands that Emery is a great admirer of the 2022 World Championship and is pushing for a reunion in Villa Park.
And should the deal materialize that he was able to enter into a partnership with Torres again after spending three years with the player in Estadio de la Ceramica.
Although Foyh is a popular figure among the fans of the club, only 18 months left his contract.
And he will certainly be desperate to compensate for the lost time after he has only returned to the field last month.

Foyh spent a year on the side after suffering a shoulder injury in December 2023, and then taking a knee chest against Nottingham Forest in the previous season.
After 12 months he appeared on December 18 as the first appearance of the campaign against Rayo Vallecano.
Now fully fit, he has to see in four of the last five games from Villreals – from twice.
