FA Cup 2024/25 predictions: Quarter-finals

The FA Cup 2024/25 has so far enjoyed the outsider, even if the giant murders were scarce.

There was no story with Wrexham in 1992, Lincoln City in 2017 or 1972 (although the non-League Tamworth Tottenham Hotspur brought Hotspur into extra time), but the competition could still deliver a fairy tale.

Half of the remaining eight FA Cup participants have never lifted this trophy before. The majority of the survivors are first-class outfits that give away part of the magic, but that does not mean that the quarter-finals of this weekend are not a major occasion for several supporters.

Manchester City is still there and has previously thrown dreams, especially in 2019 and 2023, but there is hope that their vulnerability will be confiscated by one of the remaining trophy-hungry competitors.

Here are 90 minutes Predictions for the quarter -finals 2024/25 FA Cup.

Two of the four teams that this historic price meeting in West -London have never got into their hands Fulham Face Crystal palace.

The Cottagers defeated Manchester United to get into the last eight, while the Palace after the early release of goalkeeper Liam Roberts due to Fly-Kicking Jean-Philippe Mateta subsided. The Frenchman needed serious patching, but he is on the right track to return this weekend.

Palace won the previous visit to Craven Cottage at the beginning of this year and is one of the form teams of the Premier League. However, the hosts are more than six points in the table.

Brighton I never won the FA Cup and revenge is okay on the south coast while you are taking care of Nottingham Forest. The seagulls were exposed to a 7-0 demonstration on the town square last month.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s team was one of the stories of the season, and in 2024/25 Brian Cloudh has been going into this competition since the days of the days, while they arrive in this competition while you get a top 4 place in the Premier League.

PrestonThe glorious days are long behind, but they wave the flag for the EFL this weekend and want to reach the FA Cup semi-final for the first time since 1964.

Paul Heckingbottom’s team was a pretty hard clock this season, but they produced one of their best performances of the season against Burnley in the fifth round to achieve the quarter -finals. However, if you are supposed to write history this weekend, you have to bypass the Unai Emery’s Aston Villa.

The villans picked up two rivals of the Premier League on their way to the quarters, but all three ties were played in Villa Park. They are not quite as scary on their travels, although Deepdale has hardly proven to be a fortress in this semester.

The campaign rounds off in the vitality stadium. BournemouthGreet a page that is more than with silver that has never made it to the FA Cup semi-final. Manchester City to the south coast. The dwindling Premier League champions spoiled potential outsider stories on the way to fame in 2019 and 2023 and have the chance to end an enthusiastic cup campaign with a fairly boring note.

However, Pep Guardiola’s team is faulty and they have already lost in Bournemouth this season. The cherries are strongly supported by neutral on Sunday.
