Neymar has hinted at a possible reunion of FC Barcelona’s legendary trio consisting of him, Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez.
They were one of the most productive threesomes in football history, and the “MSN” trio couldn’t be far away from a reunion.

Barcelona’s numbers nine, ten and eleven had an incredible 364 goals and 173 assists during their time with the Spanish club.
Neymar was the first of the trio to leave Barcelona in 2017, for a still world record transfer fee of £198 million.
Messi and Suárez stayed at Barcelona for another three seasons before the Uruguayan moved to Atlético Madrid.
Messi moved to PSG, where he reunited with Neymar in 2021, and the pair played together for another four years.
Neymar’s departure in 2017 marked the end of the ‘MSN’ era at Barcelona, but now the Brazil international has spoken of a possible reunion.
Neymar recently said at the Globe Soccer Awards: “Of course it would be incredible to play with (Lionel) Messi and (Luis) Suarez again.
“They are my friends. We still talk to each other. It would be interesting to revive this trio. I’m happy at Al Hilal, I’m happy in Saudi Arabia, but who knows. Football is full of surprises.
“When the news came that I was leaving Paris Saint-Germain, the transfer window in the United States was closed, so I didn’t have that option.
“The project they offered me (in Saudi Arabia) was very good, not only for me but also for my family, so going to Saudi Arabia was the best option.”
Suarez joined Messi at MLS club Inter Miami in 2024, where the two have played together ever since.

Suarez will play in the MLS for at least another year after signing a one-year contract extension, while Neymar will play at Al-Hilal until the summer.
The 2026 World Cup is likely to be the next time the trio are reunited – this time competing with each other.
Neymar is hoping to end his football career with a win for Brazil, who have not finished higher than fourth since winning in 2002.
Messi led his Argentina team to victory in 2022 and Uruguay are winless since 1950, although they secured fourth place in 2010.
The offensive team finished the 2014/15 season with 122 goals, setting a Spanish football record for the most goals from a group of three.
A season later, in 2015–16, they scored a further nine goals for a total of 131, breaking the record they had set earlier in the season.
