Fulham vs Nottingham Forest: Preview, predictions and lineups

A few European hope wearers meet this weekend in Craven Cottage when Fulham competes against Nottingham Forest.

While the cottagers are able to push themselves to a potential league of the conference league, Forest is in a strong position to secure the Champions League football for the next season. The case that many have projected has not yet arrived, and your 7-0 beatdown from Brighton a week after you lost 5-0 in Bournemouth, it was not clear that this team is now going.

With 14 remaining games, the forest is third in the table and can look up due to Arsenal’s injury problems. The Gunners have three points in second place, while Chelsea have four points in fourth place. A number of teams are pushing for a top four place.

Fulham is not so high, although a number of positive results could come into the mix. Marco Silva’s men are in the seventh of the ninth and four points behind Bournemouth. Chelsea is only seven points better.

The hosts on Saturday are one of the few teams who can beat Forest this season and score in September with a 1-0 win on the City Ground.

Rodrigo Muniz

Rodrigo Muniz enjoys another of his purple spots and pushes top scorer Raul Jimenez for a start at the top. The Brazilian international scored a clip last weekend in Wigan after achieving the last time in the Premier League in St. James’ Park.

It is a throw between the couple for the game on Saturday, but Jimenez will probably get the nod.

Reiss Nelson reported reportedly a setback when recovering from a thigh injury and stays apart, while Harry Wilson and Kenny Tete stay outside for the hosts.

Fulham predicted the line-up against forest (4-2-3-1): Leno; Castagne, Andersen, Bassey, Robinson; Lukic, mountains; Traore, Smith Rowe, Iwobi; Jimenez.

The key to the success of Forest this season was a short list of injuries. The midfielder Danilo and Ibrahim Sangare recently scored their respective returns after they had missed most of 2024/25 up to this point.

Callum Hudson -odoi is the only remarkable concern for the away side. The wing player has to deal with a groin problem that kept him out of operation for a few weeks, but he is back in training.

The back-up striker Taiwo Awoniyi and number two, Carlos Miguel, were both forced to exeter during the Fa Cup victory of Forest, and it should probably also do the matchday squad on Saturday.

Forest predicted line-up against Fulham (3-4-2-1): Sels; Morato, Milenkovic, Murillo; Aina, Anderson, Danilo, Williams; Gibbs-White, Elanga; Wood.

Both teams went into the fifth round of the FA Cup for the last time, although Forest had to work hard on Tuesday. Espirito Santo had to turn his big dogs to bring his side over the line.

That could have a few deposits on the game on Saturday, where the hosts enjoy a quieter excursion in Wigan last week. In addition, Fulham has an excellent newer record in this game.

Forest, however, will be determined to bring you over the huts, with the severe loss in Bournemouth serving as a timely wake -up call. An evenly coordinated competition on paper was decided by the strange goal.

Prediction: Fulham 1-2 Nottingham Forest
