Ruben Amorim has declared Marcus Rashford has created a “difficult situation” after the striker declared he was seeking a move away from Manchester United.
The 27-year-old revealed last week that he was “ready for a new challenge” ahead of the January transfer window.

Amorim responded to the news by stressing that he would still like to keep the versatile England international at Old Trafford.
But it seems the door could be opened for the two-time FA Cup winner in 2025 if The Pitch Prospect understands that Are united open to offers.
Rashford, who has been with his boyhood club for 20 years, was also excluded from the final three matchdays by United.
And following the Red Devils’ 3-0 home defeat to Bournemouth, Amorim has now questioned his team’s advice to Rashford.
Speaking to Sky Sports about Rashford’s comments, Amorim said: “Of course it’s a difficult situation.”
“But I understand that these types of players have a lot of people around them who make some decisions that are not the player’s first idea.”
“So I understand and can separate things.
“I’m always here to help Marcus as another player. I have to do what I have to do.”
“They chose to do the interview because it’s not just Marcus. I understand that.”
“As a coach, I just focus on performance and the way you train.”

“Incidentally, it is better for me and the club to deal with it in due course.”
“Right now I’m focused on improving Marcus – we desperately need a talented guy like Marcus at this moment.”
“I’m forgetting the interview for now, I’m only now seeing what I see on the pitch.”
Should Rashford move in the new year, he will probably have no shortage of suitors.
The Pitch Prospect understands that three Saudi Arabian clubs have already expressed interest in securing his services.
Rashford has not only fallen out of favor under Amorim but has also lost the support of the United fanbase.

During last week’s Carabao Cup defeat to Tottenham, fans in the away area unveiled a banner reading “Excuses. Ta Ra Marcus” as they made their feelings clear.
And United legend Gary Neville believes Amorim will eventually get Rashford his wish and allow him to leave “himself and the club”.
The Sky pundit remarked: “Something has to change at Manchester United.”
“For ten years, many of the same players have achieved the same results.
“We have often talked about culture. If there are players who, for one reason or another, don’t quite fit in, if their quality isn’t good enough, you have to let them go.”
