Harvey Elliott reveals Liverpool exit stance after ‘difficult’ season

The midfielder of Liverpool, Harvey Elliott, has confirmed that he wants to stay in Anfield this summer and fight for his future.

The 22-year-old, a Liverpool fan of young people, has made 24 appearances in all competitions this season, but the vast majority of them are a late replacement. In total, Arne Slot gave him 651 minutes with an average of just over 27 minutes per appearance. None of his 14 Premier League excursions came as a starter.

In his limited role, Elliott admitted that he was sometimes “angry and frustrated” this season, and triggered suggestions for a deduction of Liverpool. It is believed that the reds are willing to demand up to 40 million GBP from Newcastle United.

While Elliott has approved Liverpool Echo The fact that he cannot predict what his future could have made no attempt to hide his wish to stay in the club beyond this season.

“I hope I can go on [next season]”Elliott said.” This is my team, I am obliged to you and it is just a situation that will always talk a lot. I just have to think about what is best for my future, my career and as much as I want it to be here, you never know what will happen around the corner.

“If I had it in my own way, this would be here, I would play every game here and stay here for the rest of my career, but everything depends on managers, people above and, as I said, they don’t know what could happen, but I am aware that I am here to stay here and this is the club in which I want to be.

“Hopefully I’m still here to be honest. It is the best place to be the best club and especially the fans around us, I don’t think there is a better place to play.

“I think it was much more difficult for me because I obviously had this injury at the beginning,” he said. “But at the same time you have to be here for the team, work as hard as possible and when the possibilities on the field come.

“Often it was almost this season [coming on] When we have lost or drawn, it is about changing the game, turning it around and having a positive influence. But you know, every minute for Liverpool are incredible. “
