Real Madrid Manager Carlo Ancelotti made Endrick’s bad decision before the victory on Wednesday against Getafe in front of the goal.
The Ancelotti team had a narrow 1-0 advantage when Eduardo Camavavinga shot the Brazilian for ten minutes into the second half through the Brazilian. Endrick was defeated with only David Soria and tried to draw the ball over Getafe’s goalkeepers, but could not establish the necessary connection, which ultimately declined directly into his opponents’ gloves.
Endrick was discontinued within ten minutes of his failed effort and Abrupt’s first start to the season of the teenager.
“He can’t do these things,” Ancelotti snorted after completing a crucial 1-0 victory that closed the gap to Barcelona on just four points. “He is young and has to learn, but there are no these things in football. He has to shoot as hard as possible. This is not a drama club.”
The unused striker was not the only Madrid player who had been guilty of wasting the chances during the week. “We may lack a little more effectiveness,” said Ancelotti. “It is true that we have to be more effective, and in the first half we were not with several opportunities or in the second counterattack.”
Ancelotti had more praise for Arda Guler, who scored the only goal of the game in the 21st minute with a strong explosion of his weaker right foot. “He played with quality, calm and very well,” enthused the Italian.

Endrick’s failed show boating – one aspect of the game that Ancelotti has never been – has not increased his chances of taking place against Barcelona on Saturday in the Copa Del Rey final. The return of Kylian Mbappe from an injury would of course have pushed the Brazilian to the bench, although it could be limited to even a few minutes in the future.
