After the bees lost the star striker Bryan Mbumo against Manchester United, the bees hesitated that another of their scorers go.

However, the attitude of Brentford for a Wissa sale should be softer if you manage to get a replacement, with the club being contracted in advanced talks to sign Bournemouth’s Dango Outtara.

Talksport understands that Newcastle will receive a deal for Wissa over the line by the end of this week.

In view of Mbumo and Wissa, combined for astonishing 39 Premier League goals last season, Andrews understandably hesitantly hesitantly hesitate to lose the Congolese international.

Andrews spoke exclusively with the Sam Matterface from Talksport and pointed out in a playful way how he was responsible for almost half of Wissas Tor in the last term

“I have a good relationship with WISS,” said Andrews.

“I worked very hard with him last year to find goals. Seven of his 19 goals last year came from Set pieces.

“He really owes me, so he shouldn’t go anywhere to be dull!”

Andrews, who was promoted from Brentford’s Set -Piece coach of the head coach to Thomas Frank’s departure to Tottenham, has complained in the past few weeks of Wissa’s future.

Does Andrews believe that Wissa could go?

Wissa, who remains in his contract for a year, believes that he is leaving a gentleman agreement with Brentford this summer after he has agreed to stay for the 2024/25 campaign.

The striker withdrew from Brentford’s pre-season tour and is currently training alone to force a step.

Neom and Al -Nassr have both followed the latest approaches – and both Saudi clubs believe that Brentford will sell for around 40 million GBP.

However, Wissa wants to play the Champions League football and is ready to wait for Newcastle or another club in Europe.

“It wasn’t ideal for him,” said Andrews.

“But what I think that we understand the situation.

“Hopefully in my view he is still in the club. That has not changed in the past few days. Nothing is fresh, nothing is new.

“It is a scenario that is clearly not looking for me. Why should someone lose a striker who scored 19 goals of the Premier League?

“Unfortunately, what it is. I will continue to communicate with Yoane with me because he is with me and returns to this respectful relationship that will certainly remain.”

Although the couple can have a close bond, Andrews is very aware that it is not at his request to keep Wissa.

When asked by Matterface, whether he believed that he could convince Wissa to stay, Andrews replied: “I don’t know is the honest answer.

“There is interest that was well documented. It is like a few long weeks when it started where it is now.

“It is still a few weeks ahead of you. I would love it if Yoane is here when the window closes because he is a top, top player and a top person who fits in the value and the ethos of the club. I hope, but we have to wait and see.”

Who could Brentford Wissa replace with?

Wissa is currently in Brentford’s books.

But talk sport understands that the bees have already recorded a potential replacement in the form of Bournemouth Flyer Outtara.

Burkina Faso International Ouattara scored seven goals in the Premier League last season, including a hat trick against Nottingham Forest in January.

The 23-year-old appeared in the middle of an injury crisis as a useful striker for Bournemouth after he had previously been stationed with left-back or Wing-Back.

He joined the cherries in a change of 19.5 million GBP from FC Lorient in 2023 and will be included in the vitality stadium by 2028.
