Alexi Lalas said that Christian Pulisic, in which he involves his father in the past and the present, is not very rocky.
And the 96-Cap-US defender should know everything about it after being open to Hootie & The Blowfish during a European tour in 1998.

Now, an analyst, Lalas has teamed up with former USMNT stars to escalate a growing feud with Mauricio Pochettino’s current team.
Pulisic was at the center of controversy this year and initially insisted that there was an agenda against American players in European football.
The former Chelsea star then made the controversial decision not to play at the Gold Cup 2025 in order to prioritize his calm and recovery.
Despite the criticism of ex-USMNT stars, Pulisic has remained steadfast in his election, with his father Mark also coming to the aid of the latest episodes of the Pulisian documentary series.
“Don’t bring your father to a fight,” Lala wrote in a column for Fox Sports last week. “In this case, I get this Mark Pulisic, like other fathers out there.
“I understand that he is a former coach. But who brings her father into a fight? When they are angry with me or landon [Donovan] Or someone else who is critical of you is okay.
“You have a platform, you have a microphone – some would say bigger than any other out there to get it from your chest, but you don’t have to bring your father.
“It never even happened that my father defend me in front of the loops and arrows that are inevitable but well done.
“You have to see me and have exactly what you wanted.”
Lalas also decidedly resigned from accusations of Pulisic and Tim Weah that USMNT attempts to make headlines for attention.

“First and foremost, if they want to accuse people of doing things for clicks and attention or seeing a show, well played,” added Lalas.
“This is exactly what you did and that is exactly what happened. We are bad? This is a completely different level. I don’t feel bad.
“I don’t think that I am, and I don’t think one of the other people they may refer to are angry with our criticism. But if they were, I would certainly not respect them.”
Lalas’ recent comments came after he had asked Pulisic and Co. to maintain their focus on the pitch over public feud.
“For a team that fear and, as you know, relative concern and concern and – sometimes anger and disappointment – for what you have done, for the decisions you made on and off the field?” Lalas said in his Union’s podcast.
“You should do everything and everyone to look good, to get into the good graces of an American public that absolutely want to love, she wants to and absolutely wants to support her.”

Lalas opened for Hootie & The Blowfish
After she was appointed in 1998 in the MLS All-Star team, Lala’s’ band “The Gypsies” was opened for Hootie & The Blowfish on her European tour.
“The Gypsies were a band in which I was during college when I finally started to really take up and tour.
“We had a great time on the Hootie tour, the boys treated us great, and it was a challenge every night to go out and win a lot that was not really there to see you.
“Music was never a hobby for me – I took it as seriously as my football. While my success in football gave me opportunities in music, I knew that I had to prove that it was not a vanity or mood.

“The reality is that the public is rightly skeptical about athletes who make music, but I never let myself be stopped.
“I have released four albums over the years, you can find a lot of my things online under ‘Alexi Lalas’.
“Nowadays I have a studio at my home and write for myself and others.
“In contrast to football, I can do music for the rest of my life … and I intend to do it.”
