Paris Saint-Germain never considered signing Mohamed Salah, according to their president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.
Salah is entering the final months of his contract at Liverpool and faces a move away from Anfield at the end of the season.

He recently revealed that the Reds have not yet offered him a new contract to stay, admitting he is “more out than in”.
A report from French newspaper L’Equipe on Sunday said Salah’s representatives had spoken to PSG about a possible move.
However, Al-Khelaifi has ruled out the club’s chances of signing the winger, who can agree a pre-contract with a foreign team from January.
“That’s not true,” he said via Sky Deutschland reporter Florian Plettenberg.

“He is a fantastic and amazing player but we honestly never considered him.”
“We know every club would like to have him, but this rumor about us is simply not true.”
PSG’s signing of Salah would be a big step as they lost their record goalscorer Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid in the summer.
They are on course for another Ligue 1 title this season, although the Egyptian would likely be the final piece of the puzzle in their hopes of winning the Champions League.
Salah has been in scintillating form for Liverpool this season, scoring 13 goals and assisting 11 more in 20 appearances.
He scored in his sixth consecutive Premier League game on Sunday as Arne Slot’s side beat Manchester City 2-0.

However, the uproar surrounding his uncertain future at the club is likely to continue while the prospect of a new contract remains stalled.
Liverpool rejected a whopping £150million offer from Saudi Pro League club Al Ittihad for Salah last summer.
The Pitch Prospect reported last month that fellow Saudi club Al Hilal are keen to sign the legendary Reds star ahead of the FIFA Club World Cup.
Salah may not be Liverpool’s only notable departure next summer, with the futures of Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil van Dijk also uncertain.
Both players’ contracts also expire next summer, although Van Dijk revealed there are “ongoing discussions” about a new contract.
