Al-Ahli are considering making a better offer for Brentford striker Ivan Toney, The Pitch Prospect has learned.
As The Pitch Prospect reported on Friday, the Saudi Arabian club has already received an offer of around £35 million (including additional services), which has been rejected.

Brentford continue to demand at least £50million, even though the 28-year-old’s contract expires next summer and he has made it clear he will not sign a new deal.
Al-Ahli is also in talks with Toney, who is demanding a basic salary of over 20 million euros [£17m] Adding bonuses and accommodation allowances, the total amount is double.
Brentford left Toney out of their Premier League opener against Crystal Palace, although The Pitch Prospect understands the English striker wanted to play.
The Bees are still hoping that one of the Premier League’s big names will make an offer for Toney that is closer to their valuation before the transfer window closes.
The English striker is said to have held talks with Arsenal earlier this summer.
However, the Gunners decided against a move at that time.
Al-Ahli were willing to pay £50 million for Tottenham’s Richarlison, but he rejected a move to the Middle East.
This has led them to consider a move for Toney, who may have already played his last game for Brentford.
The Pitch Prospect told you earlier this summer that the centre-forward had attracted interest from the Gulf state.
And Brentford boss Thomas Frank confirmed the player could leave the Gtech Community Stadium ahead of his side’s 2-1 win over the Eagles.

He said: “There is a lot going on with Ivan, especially in terms of transfers. There is a lot of transfer interest.
“For all these reasons, we have decided not to include him in the squad. I can’t give too much away.
“Of course Ivan is a top player, he was fantastic for us for four years, but we showed last season that we can manage without him.
“Is it his last game? Who knows. There is interest, it’s not close.”
And when asked in his post-game press conference whether it was a question of when and not if, Frank said: “That’s fair.
“But let’s talk about how great the loss will be for us when the time comes.”
