A sensational free transfer to Feyenoord has been tipped for Jesse Lingard, where he will join former Manchester United star Robin van Persie.
The Daily Mail reports that the Dutch side are one of several clubs that have completed a deal to sign the former England international.

The 33-year-old has been a free agent since leaving FC Seoul at the beginning of January.
He hopes to have his new club sorted by the end of the week.
But alongside Feyenoord, clubs in England, Italy and the Netherlands have also spoken about making a contract offer to Lingard.
One of those teams is his former loan team West Ham United, while Serie A side Genoa have also registered interest.
But a move to Feyenoord to play under Van Persie would be interesting.
The pair never played together at Old Trafford but the former striker is looking for a way to improve his attacking options due to an injury to his son Shaqueel.
Lingard has plenty of experience and can play in numerous positions, so despite a few lean years in his career, he could still be a great option for numerous teams looking for a boost outside of the transfer window.
Gabby Agbonlahor spoke about it on TalkSPORT Breakfast and shared his opinion.
Speaking to Alan Brazil, he said: “It’s difficult when you’re 33 and you’ve spent two years in South Korea.”
“I just think it’s a strange decision [to go to FC Seoul]. And I’m sure when he retires he’ll look back and say: “Should I have gone to Nottingham Forest?” When I could have gone back to West Ham.’

“That was the wrong decision he made and it is difficult to return to the Premier League from South Korea.”
“So maybe he has to try with a team like Feyenoord where he won’t get a big contract.”
“At 33 he should just go and enjoy his football because he would have made a lot of money, so good luck to him, but I’m sure his time in a top league in England is over.”

Sliding doors moment
After falling out of favor at Old Trafford, Lingard opted to join West Ham on loan in January 2021.
It was the Covid season and it was a remarkable transfer for the versatile attacker.
In 16 Premier League games, Lingard scored nine goals and provided five assists.
He proved to be just what David Moyes needed as the Irons clinched a place in the Europa League.
But despite constant links back to West Ham, he did not make a permanent move there this summer.
Instead, he returned to play for Man United under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and then Ralf Rangnick.
But there were hardly any appearances over the course of the season before he left on a free transfer in the summer.

The Hammers came again, but he decided to move to newly promoted Nottingham Forest.
He was one of many players to arrive at the City Ground that summer and as a result playing time was severely limited.
Lingard played 17 Premier League games, scoring no goals and not providing a single assist.
Then he was released and went to South Korea. So you have to remember that things could have been very different if he had simply moved to West Ham after that stunning loan spell.
