Jurgen Klopp’s plan for managerial return revealed after Real Madrid snub

According to a new report, the former Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp will only take on another club or a national team in the summer of 2026.

At the end of last season, the revered German tactician came from the Anfield shelter and quoted fatigue after 23 years of management with little more than a question of weeks before the grind. Surprisingly, Klopp took over Red Bull’s global football leader at the beginning of the year and worked in a more supernatural role.

However, Klopp was recently overturned to return to the touchline. Real Madrid was generally interested in the 57-year-old as a potential replacement for Carlo Ancelotti, who was intensively examined after the quarter-finals of the Champions League by Real Madrid.

Klopps Agent bluntly raised speculation and insisted that his client “is very satisfied with his new role”. A move to Madrid may not be in the cards, but there will be many jobs in the future, which can inspire links to a manager of Klopp’s caliber very well.

The TelegraphHowever, claims that Klopp’s career plan “is currently not going as Red Bull”. If there should be a return to management – and at that time is more likely to be invoiced as a possibility than security, the German will not be available until the summer of 2026.

This timeline, i.e. after the end of the 2026 World Cup, indicates a move to international management – a change of career that was invoiced as Klopp’s “maximum likelihood”. His home nation of Germany has long been advertised as a future goal for Klopp, while the United States and England are also referred to as potential employers.

The USMNT boss Mauricio Pochettino openly spoke about a return to Tottenham Hotspur, and – like his counterpart, England Thomas Tuchel – the Argentine manager will no longer have a contract after the upcoming World Cup.
