Paris Saint-Germain youth player Ethan Mbappe has confirmed that he will leave the club as a free agent with a heartfelt farewell on social media.
The 17-year-old midfielder will follow his brother Kylian at the Parc des Princes when their contracts in the French capital expire on June 30.

Ethan made his debut for Les Parisiens in December 2022 at the age of 15 in a friendly win against Paris FC.
He made his official first-team debut twelve months later, at just 16 years old, in PSG’s 3-1 win over Metz.
This was one of three league games he played for the Ligue 1 champions, and he also featured twice in the club’s successful Coupe de France campaign.
But just like his older brother, who ended his career at PSG to join Real Madrid, Ethan will also move on this summer.
On Instagram, the young man shared numerous pictures from his time at the academy, including one of him and Kylian on the pitch after a match.
In a heartfelt message to PSG fans, he said: “With the soul of a child and a fan since birth, I discovered you with eyes full of dreams.
“That was almost seven years ago and I had no idea that we would experience such an adventure together.
“It was the beginning of seven years full of red and blue in my daily life and in my heart.

“Seven years full of encounters that have left an indelible mark on me. Seven years full of priceless human and sporting memories.
“From the carefree days of my childhood to my first steps as a professional, you have laid the best foundations for the man and player I want to become.
“For everything you have given me, for all the wonderful people you have put in my path and for how you have helped me grow, in the name of my sincere love for you, I say thank you and goodbye, PSG.”
It is believed that Mbappe has no shortage of admirers and clubs are trying to sign him.
French news portal Le Parisien stated that Championship club QPR is an admirer of the player.
However, they are said to be in competition with Borussia Dortmund and Ajax.
