Barcelona’s triumphant teenager phenomenon Lamin Yamal explained that Real Madrid simply “couldn’t beat” us this season, through a mirrored sunglasses and another set that rested on his peroxide blond hair.
Yamal provided two of the Barcelona goals in a 3-2 win from Bonkers about her arch-rivals in the Copa del Rey final on Saturday evening. This season, the Catalan giants have already implemented a 4-0 strike in the Santiago Bernabeu and a 5-2 demolition by Madrid in the Supercopa de Espana final, which proves the point of the 17-year-old.
After a one-sided first half, Barcelona took over a 1-0 lead that did not reflect her dominance. The returning French Talisman Gloss with the first direct free kick in his senior career before Aurelien Tchouameni directed the Capital Club to the top.
But when Yamal laughed after the game, Barcelona was not worried. “If you scored a goal, it would not matter if you scored two points, it would not be a role,” the teenagers twitched the armpits. It was Yamal’s devilish passport who gave up Ferran Torres for a compensation of 84th minute and sent the competition into the extension and the early morning of Sunday morning before Jules Kounde hit one last blow in the 116th minute.
“You can’t beat us this year,” said Yamal, “and that was proven.”
There was a growing option that this fascinating final may have never taken place. The referees Ricardo de Burgos Bengoetxea broke out in tears during the press conference before the game when he discussed the pressure of Real Madrid’s internal media channel. The reigning Spanish champions boycotted their press tasks before diving late for showpiece.
Yamal was not the only one who aimed to have a fool on Real Madrid. In the last whistle, the former central defender of Barcelona, Gerard Pique, tweeted in the Katalaner: “In the end, the good ones always win.”
Nobody was able to argue in the Clasicos this season with Yamal’s assessment of Barcelona’s superiority towards Real Madrid, but his team -mate Frenkie de Jong questioned his solemn outfit. “Everyone has to do what they want. But there was no sun, so there is no point in wearing sunglasses,” said the Dutch.
