Lamin Yamal was one of the, if not the Best footballers on the planet this season.
At the age of only 17, the Spanish Wunderkid conquered the football world by storm. He scored 18 goals and scored 25 templates in all competitions.
But beyond the cutlery and the statistics there is a timeless test for the football size (apart from that in a cold, rainy night in Stoke): The Crossbar Challenge.
And in Yamal’s case, he happened with the same ease and precision, which he shows on the pitch.
The graduate of the La Masia Academy went on Instagram to share his attempt at the #Poweradcrossbartchallenge. The goal? Beat the ball from the edge of the box and hit the crossbar where a Powerade bottle was placed – in this case in the corner.
“Hello, my name is Lamine Yamal and that’s the Powerade Crossbar Challenge,” he said in Spanish before climbing.
With cool self -confidence, Yamal hit the ball clean and found the corner of the rod with precisely accuracy. The Powerade bottle collapsed when cheers broke out of the observations.
In his caption, Yamal asked the fans to publish their own attempts. Some already have – several proud shirts with his name on their backs.
Do you think you could beat Barcelonas Wonderboy? Good luck. You will need it.
